the flamethrower in in world war one was a the top weapon everyone that had it would feel like a man to use in the war. Germany were really main ones to actually use the flamethrower in WW1. flamethrowers were made actually for killing or drive people short range out of trenches or just killing people and burning them to a crispy little soldier. If you were giving a flamethrower in that time you would probably think you were hot stuff and your better than the others. Well if you were given a flamethrower really you should have cried because you were going to be a big target and if someone shot your gas tank oh you going to be set on fire and burned to a crisy little morsel.The first Flamethrower was dated to the 5 century. It has been said that Germany first used the flamethrower on an attack on Britian said by worldwar.com. the flamethrower actually has  brothers before the real flamethrower. It was called (the Grossflammenwerfer) it was the second model for the war . the first model was a small weapon called the Grossflammenwerfer . the flamethrower was a powerful weapon. if i had that weapon i will cook britian soilder s all day haha.The flamethrower has a gas tank that is attached to a hose and then connected to a nozzle which has a little lighter on it. where you press the trigger then the lighter comes on and the flame starts and then the gas starts shooting the here come the boom. The flamethrower has actually is not a big weapon in todays time. technology has actually made weapons that make the flamethrower obsolite so really it was good while it lasted.
